Our team of grant writing professionals are some of the best in our field. What we have in common is a desire to use our gifts to work together to make a difference in the world.
Here is our team:
Rachel is founder of REPKOGRANTS. A native of Great Britain and the daughter of an Anglican vicar, Rachel grew up with a strong sense of wanting to serve others and make a difference in the world. Over the years, she became particularly aware of the plight of those experiencing homelessness, a cause that remains central to her work. Rachel started her writing career during her first job out of college while working at London-based public relations company, The Rowland Company (TRC) – but quickly realized that her heart was set on working for non-profit causes. On moving to the United States in the 1990s, Rachel began her non-profit grant writing career at international relief and development organization World Vision. After a brief hiatus to stay home with her three daughters, Rachel returned to grant writing and consulting in 2004, helping to raise grant funding for some of Los Angeles-area leading organizations including one of the largest rescue missions in the USA. Now with more than twenty years’ grant writing under her belt, her experience has made her an expert in the area of grant writing, research, and building revenue from foundation grants. Rachel has a BA honors degree from Durham University, England. She is on the Board of the Dressember Foundation and the North American Durham University Development Board. When not writing, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and three college-age children, cooking and entertaining, and travelling to England to visit family and friends.
Stephanie Hanson brings more than eight years’ experience in nonprofit corporate and foundation relations for The Salvation Army to REPKOGRANTS, as well as past experience as the Director of Marketing and Communications for four start-ups and service on the board of directors for an international nonprofit. A graduate of the professional writing program at Taylor University in Indiana, Stephanie is a devoted wife and mother, and a published writer. Stephanie lives in Minnesota with her husband, son, and two puppies, Tarzan and Mowgli.
